These come in five warlords family crescent (Kamon) themes and two colors.  Pick the one you like and give the other to your friend or partner.  Makes a great gift.
Date Masamune
(September 5, 1567 – June 27, 1636) was a regional strongman of Japan's
Azuchi-Momoyama period
through early
Edo period
. Heir to a long line of powerful
daimyo
in the
Thoku region
, he went on to found the modern-day city of
Sendai
. An outstanding tactician, he was made all the more iconic for his missing eye, and Date was often called Dokuganryu or the "one-eyed dragon".
The assembled size of the chopstick is 210mm or 8.3”. They can be disassembled and stored in the supplied carrying case. The carrying case measures 125mm by 42mm or 4.9” by 1.65”. This makes the chopsticks very portable. Easily fitting in your purse or your pocket.
The chopsticks arrive assembled and you simply have to unscrew the brown tip section from the lower section. Place the disassembled chopsticks in the handy carrying case, latch the case and you are ready to go out to dinner.
The chopsticks are made of biomass plastic and an aluminum-connecting collar. They are heat resistant to 130
°
C (266
°
F) and the tip section is dishwasher safe.
