Description

Here is an antique 1901 Souvenir photo gravures booklet of Duluth, Minnesota. The depictions and photos are stunning, and this has a fold-out of downtown that makes into a really cool panorama image which would look great matted and framed. There are 17 pages that include West Superior Street & the Spalding Hotel, the First National Bank, Lonesdale and Torrey buildings, Cascade and Lincoln Park, various Churches, schools such as Central HS and Cathedrals, the Boulevard with horse & carriage, Lester Park, ship steamers, the Coal and Ore docks, and Mahoning Mine among other places. It was printed by the Albertype Company of Brooklyn New York, and copyrighted by Chamberlain & Taylor.
The condition is used with a hand written dedication inside the front cover, a mild musty smell, age wear/surface dirt on the cover with small edge tears & curling, the pages are bright and crisp as seen in the photos.
